Carpool
The Transportation Demand Management Program has implemented a carpool service that allows support and faculty staff members to form carpool groups, in order to obtain a preferential carpool parking permit.
Please refer to the Transportation Demand Management policy for more information concerning eligibility criteria for this service.
A preferential carpool permit allows the carpool team to choose a specific parking space in the exterior lot or garage which will be reserved for them. With a carpool parking permit, all members of the carpool team are eligible for the Emergency Ride Home Program.
The Parking, Traffic and Sustainable Transportation Office will issue the carpool parking permit to a designated captain of the team once all the eligibility conditions have been met. The captain is responsible for the parking permit and all costs associated with the permit.
